(We do not take United Community Health Plan, which is Apple Health, which is Medicaid).
-
Superbills are monthly proof that you paid us. We provide “Superbills” to you for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. They usually reimburse you within a month.
This process takes time and effort and sometimes you have to follow up if the insurance company denies the claim for some reason. You also have the option of using a third party service to do this work for you. Reimbursify is a service that charges a few dollars to do this labor for you!
-
You may use your Health Savings Account (HSA) card to pay for therapy (with pre-tax income) by placing the card number on file.
These cards are not supposed to be used to pay late cancellation or no-show charges.
-
You may use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card (pre-tax income) to pay for therapy by placing that card number on file.

I am an out of network (OON) provider with the Kaiser Gender Health program, providing behavioral health for transgender clients. If you are an existing client, please contact your Case Manager and let them know you’d like me to be your therapist and to have your sessions with me be reimbursed out of network.
If you’d like more information on their programs, please visit their website.
-
Your credit card is stored in the Client Portal confidentially. It is billed the morning of your appointment.
What’s the next step?
-
Get in touch with me via phone, email, text, or my website. I will get back to you within 48 hours (likely sooner).
-
Then, we will schedule a consultation call. There are a few options of how to do that:
If you’re interviewing several therapists, do a free, 10-minute phone call.
If you’re pretty sure you want to work with me, we can do a 20-minute session ($25).
If you like how the relationship feels after 25 minutes being together, it’s probably a better gauge of what it’s like to work with me.
-
Intakes are the most medical-y of all our appointments. We have to go over the Informed Consent form you signed online. Then, I will ask you a long list of questions of a variety of topics. We will try to get through them quickly and without much narrative.
Once we cover our bases, we can just start talking naturally and have fun!
-
I only work with people weekly. I do not do every-other week or once a month appointments.
Having your appointment at the same time each week gives us routine or ritual, and predictability, which are great for building the foundation of a new working relationship and it boosts executive functioning.
The day & time of your slot can be changed if your schedule changes or you have a one-off event.
I do not do cancellations. Only rescheduling or deleting with 7 days notice.
