Crisis Connections is staffed by trained peers who are community members interested in the wellbeing of others. Many of the staff are graduate students in counseling or undergraduate psychology students, and many are/have been users of mental health crisis services themselves.
It’s not weird to need to talk to someone when things are feeling totally unmanageable. The crisis line is here for everyday people like you and me. Call to get support in times of extreme emotions, uncertainty, and they will have many resources to give you to get started on a solution.

The Center for Chronic Illness is a nonprofit organization based in Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to promote well-being and decrease isolation for those impacted by chronic illness through support and education. CCI focuses on three main pillars in providing support and education to the chronic illness community: Emotional Well-being, Health Education, and Community.
Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families
We were all profoundly affected by the dysfunction in our families of origin, whether alcohol was present in the home or not. Consequently, we developed a set of “laundry list” traits that helped us survive that experience. These traits may have been adaptive at the time, but have now come to substantially disrupt our lives.
PFLAG
Founded in 1973, PFLAG is the first and largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and their families. PFLAG’s network of hundreds of chapters and more than 325,000 members and supporters works to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
CHADD
Adults who struggle with ADHD can now participate in virtual support groups that provide ongoing encouragement and updated information to help them manage daily responsibilities and improve the quality of their lives—thanks to the efforts of fellow adults with ADHD.
Peace Over Violence
For sexual assault survivors. Support Groups provide a safe place to connect with other survivors who share similar experiences. Trained, empathetic counselors co-facilitate the groups in a safe and support setting.
Recovery Café
Recovery Café was founded on the knowledge that every human being is precious and beloved regardless of past trauma, mental and emotional anguish, addictive behaviors or mistakes made. We provide a beautiful, safe, warm, drug and alcohol free space and loving community to anchor Members (our most closely-supported consumers) in the sustained recovery needed to gain and maintain access to housing, social and health services, healthy relationships, education and employment.
National Alliance on Mental Illness
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by trained leaders who've been there.
NAMI Family Support Group is a support group for family members, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. Groups meet weekly, every other week or monthly, depending on location. Many support groups are virtual and attendance is open to everyone across the country.
The Healing Center (Grief)
Grief is a universal experience, but we don’t talk about it universally. At The Healing Center, we create space for people experiencing loss to share memories, learnings, challenges, and even laughter. Our grief support options span all ages and stages in your grief process. Healing is not linear; our programs are designed to support you as you evolve after loss.
